/Nov 2019, Hye Youn just published an article focusing on the development of defect‐free polymeric hollow fiber membranes as a robust platform for organic solvent reverse osmosis. This article was selected as a cover paper for the "Future" issue of AIChE Journal, which invites early career researchers to contribute their pioneering works. Check it out here.

Aug 2019, Yao has won the 2019 AIChE Separations Division Graduate Student Research Award, which she will receive at the Separations Division’s Awards Banquet on November 11 at the Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida. Congrats!
Jul 2019, Yao has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 Eastman Graduate Fellowship in Chemical Engineering. This fellowship of $10,000 will provide Yao with an additional $5000 in stipend and $5000 in resources for materials and travel. Congrats!
Jul 2019, Fengyi just published an article in Chemistry of Materials. The article developed a metal oxide-infused membrane, which could offer a low-energy alternative for chemical separations. -- Check it out here.
Jun 2019, Yao just published an article in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, which has been selected as a VIP (very important paper) and cover paper. The article focuses on the development of carbon molecular sieve membrane with mid-range micropores for xylene isomer separation. Check it out here.

Feb 2019, Yao has been selected as one of the three recipients for the 2019 NAMS Student Fellowship -- congrats! In addition to a $500 prize, she will present her research at the 2019 NAMS in Pittsburgh in a special award session.
